Today Gracie turned 10. I wish I could keep her home with me forever. I will miss her so much when she leaves me someday. I am so attached to her. She is my baby.

She went to Wendy's to eat for her birthday and then to Walmart. She had a gift card for 25.00. She found the make a monster kit to build your own Monster High Doll. This was the only one she didn't have. She was so happy to find it on her birthday.

Today is Mason's actual 2nd Birthday. He is sweet and funny, mean and bad...He makes us laugh, alot. He loves Caillou. As soon as he wakes up, he says Caillou. He gets mad if it's not on.

Gracie had a great birthday party. Her best friend from school spent the night. She got 3 new Monster High dolls and a Monster High car. She got lots of other gifts and her favorite was her new iPod touch.

I made her cakes and she loved them. Alyssa wants some for her birthday. She has the Monster High fever now.

This 1/4 sheet cake was my favorite. I put a little coffin on top. My brother was here when i was decorating it. He said what on earth are you putting on that cake, lol...

Gracie's birthday party is this Friday at 5:00. We are having it a little early because Glenda will be gone to Florida on Gracie's birthday. I felt so sorry for Gracie, she cried when I told her they would be taking their vacation. Glenda decided they would just do one day at Disney and a 4 day cruise. I hope they don't lose Brittany. She runs wild... Gracie is getting a new iPod touch. She has a second generation. It doesn't have a camera or facetime. She can't wait to Facetime with Brittany. My Walmart Nightmare before Christmas, lol...I was at the checkouts at Walmart with Mason. Heather went to the bathroom. She always wonders off at the checkouts. Mason had been playing with a plastic bottle of coke.He threw it as I was putting my stuff on the counter. I saw that it was leaking. I ran to pick it up and it exploded. It was horrible. The lid was broke. A shooting water fountian of coke. I just stood there holding it in my hand. He sat there squealing with delight, saying pop pop, lol. Everybody was staring at me. Heather came back and said omg what happened. I told her and she laughed. I had coke in my hair all over my clothes, on most of the food I had bought. She tells the girl at the check out that we had a accident with the coke and she said I can see that. She shewed and called somebody to clean it up...It was awful, I think I need therapy to get over it, lol. Now when anybody has anything to drink. I scream don't put it in Mason's reach, lol.
My next story is just something strange that happened on Christmas Eve - Christmas Night. I went to bed around 10. I put my iPhone on the dock to charge. I charge it every night. I woke up because a loud noise woke me. It was music playing on my iPhone. It was so loud. I looked at the time on the dock. It was 12:01 and the song that was playing...That Spirit of Christmas by Ray Charles...It was the weirdest thing ever. It has never played like that before and it has never happened again.

I hope 2012 is a better year for us. Last year was long and hard. I just hope that James gets a hearing soon. We had to let go of a lot of things. Things we could live without to pay our bills. I sold my camera in May. It has been so hard not to have it. I miss it more than anything. That will be the first thing that I buy. I won't buy a Nikon again. It will be a Canon. I wasn't crazy about my Nikon. If I had my camera. I still wouldn't have pictures of Mason. He hates to have his picture taken. He is never still...I owe 800.00 0n my car. Heather is going to pay it off in February. I've never not had a car payment. My car was supposed to be paid off in July of 2011. The bank has worked with me a lot in the last 18 months. The mortgage company helped me lower my payments. Our home would have been paid off in 3 years, now it will be five. I had to sell my camera to catch my payments up. They wouldn't help me as long as I was behind. I had to have 752.00 to get help from them. They helped me and that was all that mattered in the end. For the first time we had to get Food Stamps. We started out getting 277.00 a month. Now we get 161.00, for every little bit of help I got along the way, they took some off of our Food Stamps. It's been hard, I hate it. I will be so happy when we can buy our own food again. Living on 932.00 and 161.00 Food Stamps has been so hard. I cashed in my life insurance policies to buy Christmas gifts. Gracie wanted her Kindle and I got it. She deserves it, she does so good in school. Her Dad didn't buy her anything. She hasn't heard from him. He has her phone number.

Gracie was so excited about the new year. She just about fell asleep. Then she got her second wind. She had a cup beside her. When the confetti fell in New York. She shoke her cup in the air. To my surprise she had tore lots of paper up and made some confetti. I was to tired to clean it up. I was so ready for sleep. Mason loved it. He was here by 8 this morning. Heather said why did you let her throw paper all over the living room. I didn't know she was going to do it. I would have let her anyway, lol....

Mason crawling under the stalls in the bathroom at Walmart. He had to get his hands washed good when we got through, lol. He was in the next stall with Heather. I looked down and he was looking under the stall at me. Then he leaves her stall and comes crawling under mine, lol....I was gonna take his picture with my phone, but it recorded it. We laughed when we watched it. Mason can watch it as long as I will play it for him. He loves it. Heather was telling me that she has to put him in the handicap stall when she goes by herself or he crawls under the stalls and talks to people he doesn't know lol...They have the infant seats in those stalls.

This is Mason's favorite Santa. He says butt butt. He loves it, lol....

I have a long list of things that have tore, been lost, or broke this year....

My car battery died.

I had to have tires for my car.

The septic system.

My washer, it won't go to the rinse cycle.

My broil on my stove.

The tv in James' room.

I lost my good glasses back in the summer.

The handle on my storm door.

My laptop right before Christmas, Mason was jumping up and down on it. I turned it on and everything was pink. I sold it on ebay and I bought a new one at Walmart. I was just looking at it an realized it has a webcam, lol...

My cordless phones.

My tv in the living room is having problems. It is on it's last leg...Mason beats on it and I think he has blowed a bulb in it...
We have our health, so we are good.
Everything else can be taken care of...
It's been a long year.
Still no hearing on James' Social Security,
so no trip to Florida for Gracie's Birthday.
I miss my Mom always...

Gracie wanted a Monster High doll for Christmas that was impossible to find. I started looking for her in October. Two weeks before Christmas I still hadn't found her. Gracie still wanted her. She looked at Abbey Bominable all the time on the computer. I knew I could get one from Ebay. I just didn't want to pay $ 50.00 for a doll that cost $ 18.87 at Walmart. I finally paid the money and got it a few days before Christmas. It was worth the money. She screamed when she saw her. She was so excited. I think Gracie likes her better than her Kindle Fire...

We had a great Christmas Eve. I fixed Christmas Dinner today. Mason loved opening presents. He loved taking Alyssa's presents too. He took her make-up at Donna's. Today Heather 's Mamaw Ruth passed away. She was a sweet person. When I was married to Heather's Dad, she always wrote from Mom & Dad on my Christmas gifts. She was so good to me and to Heather. I'm so sad to hear that she is no longer with us.

Ruth Sword, age 88 of Joe's Creek passed away Friday December 16,2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Ruth was born December 2,1923 to her parents the late Joe and Florence Canterbury,she was a homemaker. Ruth was the wife of the late Columbus Sword. Besides her parents and her husband Ruth was preceded in death by two daughters, Gladys Sword and Della Gibson. Ruth is survived by three sons, Ray Sword, Clyde Sword, Columbus Sword Jr.three daughters, Dorothy Coleman, Carroll Scott,Edith Farmer,eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends who will miss her dearly. visitation will be Sunday 12-18-2011 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral will be Monday 12-19-2011 at 1 p.m. at Lucas and Son Funeral Home.

I want to take the girls to see this pumpkin house next year. They carve around 4000 pumpkins every year. This house is at Kenova, WV.....I didn't know anything about it. I saw this picture on Facebook. Then I saw it on the news today.....

Goodbye October....I'm so glad it's over. It's been a long month for me. I miss my Mom, she was buried on this day. Halloween will always be a little sad for me.

Gracie's Halloween Party @ School.....

My Mom has been gone for one year today. I miss her, I miss her voice. I hope that she is with her Mom, Dad, and sister. Her family, she missed them so much. I hope that she is wrapped in their loving arms, happy and healed. I will miss her forever...

This is a frog that jumped under my feet...I hate frogs, but Mason loved it....He got to come home today. He is feeling better. The breathing treatments are making him so hyper. He can't slow down. I feel so sorry for him....

Mason got really sick today. He started having trouble breathing. Heather took him to the doctor, they sent him to the hospital. He had 8 people working on him at one time. He was really sick. His doctor said that happens sometimes. She said it's kinda like a asthma attack. He will have to take breathing treatments for a few weeks...
